Bolotsky EOP Scholarship
Scholarship for sophomores, juniors and seniors:
The Educational Opportunity Program is happy to announce a scholarship specifically for EOP students. A generous donation of $2,500 has been donated by Mr. David Bolotsky for one rising sophomore , Junior or Senior with a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 and above.
The Bolotsky EOP Scholarship will be awarded to one EOP student annually. The recipient will be selected according to the following guidelines below:
Eligibility Requirements:
The applicant must fulfill the criteria established by the Committee which include:
- Sophomore, junior or senior Educational Opportunity Program Student
- Academic accomplishment, as evidenced by a 3.0 cumulative average or above
- Has demonstrated leadership or active participation in a Binghamton University organization and shows promise of leadership
- Biographical essay on current leadership and participation on the Binghamton University Campus
Scholarship for freshmen: Amount $2,500
ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST BE AN INCOMING FRESHMEN (ZERO BU CREDITS)
- HAVE 85 AND ABOVE HIGH SCHOOL AVERAGE
- DEMONSTRATE ACADEMIC PROMISE THROUGH YOUR COLLEGE ESSAY (SUBMITTED W/COLLEGE APPLICATION)
- HAVE BEEN ACTIVE IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVIES OR VOLUNTEER WORK WITHIN HIGH SCHOOL
- DEMONSTRATE FINANCIAL NEED
